Hi everybody,
For those who avoided due to the weather or as in Roger's case are 'laid up' You missed a good 'un. Greeted with spitting rain and wet grass on Saturday, the rain stopped, grass dried, gentle breeze, cloud cover but it got hotter and hotter. Breeze moved 180 degrees during the day from south to north. Dr Z was in attendance for the rapier thirsty and the flying field was sparsely attended but enjoyable. I did manage to escape injury when two errant diesels came my way under power and enjoyed myself, flying was till 6 pm this time which was welcome.
Sunday was breezier still but much better attended with most of the 'faces' there except my dear oppo Roger and I didn't see John and Mark Digby either, or Howard. Mike Stuart was competing elsewhere but still a very enjoyable day, I'll post some pics later.

Andy.

Looks like we missed a good'un, oh well. We had to cancel our hotel booking by Wed night to avoid a cancellation charge and the weather looked bad then so we cancelled! See you next time hopefully.

Good to hear you had a good weekend Andy.
After consecutive weekends away at full size air shows, Waddington and Fairford, we decided a third weekend was pushing it a bit so stayed at home and gained some brownie points.
I need to start planing for Peterborough and build something suitable for the motors I have left, hopefully will see you there.
Any news on Roger?

John,

Roger's operation was moved forward to earlier today so as to avoid further cardiac deterioration. I haven't heard anymore at present but pray he's ok. I'll let you know as soon as I hear.
