One of my projects in retirement is to assemble a reasonable facsimile of Rapier motors. During my research I came across a Yahoo group (Jet-Ex-Press) that may be of assistance. The problem is getting access. In a previous attempt I received this notice:

"Your request to join the Jet-Ex-Press group was not approved.
Your membership was automatically rejected because the moderator didn't
approve it within 14 days."

I am now getting "Membership Approval Pending". This previously happened before being rejected.

If anyone knows who I may contact, the information would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi Bill,
I believe this group is now all but defunct and Dr Jones has not been heard of for some time.

As to Rapier analogues in the US, have a look at:

I'm sure Chris would love to hear from you!

Thanks Roger.

I went to the site and wrote Chris.

Since there has been activity on Jet-Ex-Press as recent as September, I still hold out hope there may be a way in since it appears there may be a wealth of information regarding formulas and construction. Optimistic? Maybe.

Hope you do not mind seeing a pic of a rocket instead of a jet. I flew this one for the first time yesterday. It is a two stage Nike-Tomahawk and went to 4100 feet. Due to the size of our field, we need to keep them low.

Thanks for the information on the website.
