Both Roger and I thought it would be nice if the old videos taken by myself and Graham Potter of Rapier and Jetex models in action could be put on line for easy access. These would be from around 2002/2003 (Over 10 years ago - how did that happen!!)
Good news is that I found a master copy of the mpg files included on the "Just Jets" video CD, so have copied them over to my PC. I'm intending to edit groups of flights together using Windows Moviemaker and then upload to Youtube. Current problem - Windows Movie Maker will not load the mpg files and says it doeasn't understand the format (yet the files play fine in media player) . I could spend a long time loading video codecs, but I think the simplest fix will be to convert the mpg files to wmv format - there seem to be plenty of free converters out there. I'll let you know how I get on.
sounds good to me. As you say, where did those 10 plus years go? The Rapier 'bubble' has lasted longer than the original Jetex one. Let's hope that what with the new motors we will see another burst of rocketeering - stimulated by this site and the videos.
I too have a few videos to post ... must learn how.
