Hi,

I ran across an old photo of a Jetex powered airplane that I designed and built about 1960.
It didn't fly very well as I got over carried away with the airfoil. (I was 15 then and fairly ignorant about aerodynamics)

Anyway, I thought that I would share the picture.

Hi Steve,

Welcome aboard. The old model looks viable - with enough lightness and enough power and a bit of trimming I see no reason why it shouldn't fly. Have you any plans for it ... from al those years ago?

As to the quote in your profile, I am reminded of the old SR 71 Blackbird pilots' motto, which went something like: " Yea, though I fly through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. I am at Mach 3.0, 80,000 feet and accelerating!".

Nice one.

Hi Roger,

I've been around Jetex forums for several years.
My plans collection is pretty large. I possibly do have the plans somewhere.
If found, I'll scan them and send them to you.
Steve
