We make two types of 'part kits for home construction: reproductions ('repro') of 'vintage' or; 'classic' Jetex models originally produced by Veron, Keil Kraft and others in the 1950-1960 period, and original profile scale models like the Saab Viggen and Super Sabre.
Vintage Jetex models appear on eBay from time to time, but they are often damaged and can be ruinously expensive. These 'Repro' kits are produced from digital scans of vintage 50-year old kits. These are corrected for missing parts, scratches are removed they are restored, as far as possible, to the original colour. For the original Jetex.org kits, templates suitable for transfer to balsa sheet are produced from 3-views and photographs.
The templates are then transferred to balsa sheet. The 'part kits' consist of printed templates on quality balsa in the original colours, and can be sized on request to order to suit a variety of Rapier motors. These models make an excellent introduction to 'rocket' flying
Kits are produced to order at £15.00 plus £2-50 p&p and dispatched within 10 days.
