TOPIC: Vintage motors on eBay - Beware!

Hi guys,
there's quite a lot of what appears to be good and desirable Jetex stuff on eBay at the moment, for example:

However, the early Wilmot-Mansour motors are shown with Sebel pellets. I'm uncertain if these are shown just for advertising purposes or these are included in the lot.

DO NOT BE TEMPTED TO USE SEBEL PELLETS IN ALUMINIUM ALLOY MOTORS.

Sebel (and Jet-X) pellets burn a lot hotter than the old ICI pellets.

If you do put Sebel pellets in the older motors, at best you will end up with a burst and ruined motor, at worst serious injuries from fragments of hot metal.

So: the motors look to be great collectors items, but only fire them up if you have the right pellets!
