TOPIC: F22 Raptor

Ha ha, love it. A few more too to add now though.

Here is a loose assembly of the some of the built up formers for the fuselage undersides, it has been slow progress so far and just putting these bits together show me that some mods need to be done already,. Oh well, I'll keep plugging away.

Today's tricky little assembly, it will be cut into several pieces for each side of spine and above and below the horizontal split line. This former takes the ends of the lower nose sheeting, the base of the intakes and the lower outer sheeting for the main rear body. A bit of progress.

Here's shot of a test build for one of the air intakes. I gave up trying to solve the complex geometry in 2D Autocad and took to pencil and paper. It is still not quite right but it has shown me how to do it better next time. Somehow I made it too short and some of the angles are wrong.
