Having secured a supply of good 3/32" balsa, I made a start on building from one of PDG's sketch plans. I decided to make the largest, 32" in length (see above) for TSP L-3/L-4. The bare balsa parts went together quite nicely:
Note the grain direction. The parts have not been sanded to shape, but alreadythe model is quite impressive and a lot large than the Telasco missiles:
I'm tempted to finish it in the same colours red and yellow - as the Telasco kits and it will need a name.
Paul del Gatto didn't give monikers to any of these designs; keeping with the contemporaneous (1950's) ICMB names, I thought 'Trident or 'Poseden' quite suitable, particularly as my flying field is flooded and it would have to be launched under water!
