Hi Terry ... welcome to membership of CAMRPMA , the 'Campaign for Real Profile Model Aircraft'. Your T-38 ooks good.:cheer:

Did you print the templates onto paper or heat transfer paper?

I look forward to flight reports.B)

Hi Daniel, which 'Yak' are you referring to? Do you mean this one:

No, I'm afraid it's still on the 'back burner'. The fuselage is so shapely and complex I fear that only Terry's 3D printing could do it justice.

Chaps I'm trying to keep the momentum going so here's my latest a Crossley Flitzer for L2 power. For some reason I've really struggled with the canopy plug this time but it should work out. I hope....what's everyone else working on?

Hi Daniel,

looks good to me. What colour scheme are you planning?

As to what others are working on, well, have a look at 'New models for 2021' thread. I think we've all had enough of 2020!

The Ryan Firebee was a drone dropped from a Grumman A6 Intruder. I am building a 1:5.5 scale A6 and have been looking for a CAD Firebee. I have the ability to take the Firebee plan and convert to a printable CAD file and print a pair of Firebee at 1:5.5 scale. Where do I find the Firebee plan?

Below are pix of one of the A6 Intruder 1:5.5 flown in the "The Flight Of The Intruder" film of Steven Coonts novel by the same name. The model was damaged in a hurricane here in Houston. It was gifted to me.

We created a new fiberglass mold and currently laying up r/c A6's for either EDF or Turbine power. The six is 119" long with a 115" wingspan. I want to release a pair of free light Firebee from the A6.

I am currently designing a series of 1:5.5 scale Grumman A6's (A, E, EA, and KA,). I was gifted an A6 from the FX producer for the John Milius film version of Stephen Coonts novel "Flight Of The Iintruder", The 1:5.5 scale A6 was damaged during a hurricane and needed extreme repair.

Rather than repair, it was decided to create a new multiple piece fiberglass mold with which to lay up fiberglass fuselage and components.

I would like to acquire a copy of the Firebee plan...paper or if a CAD drawing was utilized... ;^) a copy of the file to create EDF/Turbine R/C Firebees for release from our A6...as was the case for the real Ryan Firebee as the first cruise missle.

Below are a few pix of the A6 Intruder:
