I thought having to design a model from scratch would slow Daniel down ... but not a bit of it. Below are the 'bare bones' of his scratch built Fairy Delta FD 1:



I wonder how the wings is to be attached ... and who will be the first to ask Daniel for a plan?

Daniel has, I think, like Pete Smart enlarged the tailplane .

These sorts of simple model respond well to careful decoration. Below is a nice guide:

Some progress on the Fairey FD1, yes I have indeed enlarged the horizontal stab and will probably cut in some trim tabs. Need to hollow out the intake next. Very lightweight.
