This is my current project. It's a Klima Me163 which they manufacture for use with their short duration rocket motors. I will try it with a Tendera L4.

Here's a rather decent video of it in action.

I've had this in the cupboard for quite some time. I'm waiting the arrival of a Lemon RC receiver which features stabilisation. It's been a while since I've flown RC and I thought I could use all the technological help that I could get.

We have, I think, only one plan suitable for L3 size motors and none at all for L4. I think if there's going to be a market for these larger motors R/C will be involved.

The kit, BTW, comes with a very nice decal sheet too. I just hope if I turn up at Old Warden with it next year the villagers don't come after me with pitchforks and torches for utilizing R/C.

Wow, fantastic, love it. Not so keen on the R/C bit anymore, but the model looks incredible in action. Thanks Terry.

Here's another R/C 163. This one has a hybrid rocket motor which can be restarted in the air....

Roger adds:

this is a far cry from classic Jetex free flight. But just wonderful! I have seen published designs for this sort of hybrid motor (I seem to remember it was called, 'Screamer .... :S ).

I looked pretty potent to me!

The map cannot be displayed, you haven't specified a location yet.
Here is my attempt at a Skyjet 50, to be flown with some L2s, and those sent to me by Roger: Thanks! Waiting for the weather to warm up a bit, though.
