Sounds like a plan :)
I just wanted to check that out before going to England. I will keep you informed about the rough estimated arrival time at your place.

Maybe I hinge those rudders elevons this week just to be prepared :)

Good morning
Yesterday on my trip to England I met Roger and his lovely wife. Amazing people
I highly recommend meeting up with him as he is a real awesome person (though, [because I was planning to radio control my DH 108 Swallow] he had his 5 minutes thinking about banning me )
We had a really nice talk about rocket powered planes and had some test glides of my Skyray before going out to dinner.
He even upgraded my model with hinged elevons (as I was too lazy to do that when building it)
Thank you Roger for that evening
I will be back :)

More photos from our visit to Jetex Towers Proving Grounds with Chris's TSP Skyray.

Above: I show Chris (who is new to rocketplanes) how it's done. Chris has made a good job of the Skyray. Note the thrust tab.

Above: Chris showing me how it should be done. A little more up elevon, just a tad more noseweight, a little more left elevon and we had a nice straight glide. B)

Above: a happy Chris with the trimmed out Skyray. It's now ready for its first powered flight, hopefully in calmer conditions. :cheer:

Very good.

Is it possible to get a note of the position of the CG, the motor position and the position of the tab and its angle please? I know, I don't ask for much. :)

This might help Terry, a drawing I did for Bluebottle Squadron that was never used! As long as the PDF opens OK and the sizes match up .

I'm sure Chris can give Terry the statistics of his Skyray when he returns from Buckminster.
Movable hinged elevons really are a good idea. As is a hinged rudder. B)
