Well, I'm not promising to build it but someone has to set the ball rolling...

I snapped this shot last year when the modified A330 Beluga made a call at Manching.

Now I can't edit my original post. Never mind.

Roger adds:

I have made Terry a moderator so he can edit his (and others) posts. So Terry can even edit this one! :cheer:

Moving on from the surreal, now is indeed a good time to think about models for our winter building programme, especially as we have an ample supply of viable motors for next year.
One model I have been considering for some time is this:

I rather fancied 'flying a Rapier with a Rapier', but I suppose it will have to be a Rapier with a TSP! :P
There is plenty of area in that large delta wing and the simple squarish fuselage should lend itself to a light all-sheet construction.

An added attraction is that I don't think it's been done before.

Oooooh I like that, not seen it before, not sure of of where those under wing fins are supposed to be though. In the head on view they are beside the fus but in the top illustration they are out nearer the wing tips. Nice shape. Reminds me a little of the under modeled NA A-5 Vigilante.

Roger adds:

the Vigilante is indeed similar; there is less wing area, though, and is, at least to my eyes, not as sexy! ;)
