Thanks Tony,

some photos of these kits would be useful.

The Graupner Fouga Sylphe is exceedingly rare. The Semo Draken is an interesting profile model. You have correctly identified the provenance of Isakson's Flying Wing and Vampire.

The Wentzen J 34 is new to me and the one I'm most interested in! Is there a photo of it? Is it built up or profile?

Good stuff! B)

The Vampire and the Flying Wing look to be a repackaging of the early Wilmot Mansour kits. The Wentzel Hawker Hunter is, however, different, and looks to be a later indigenous kit:

As you can see, it looks to be nicely produced and appears to be complete.

One puzzle : where is the motive power? Was this very nice (though pretty complex) model for display only?

I would like some more details - this is the first example of a 'Wentzen' kit I've seen and this surviving one appears to be unique!

The Graupner Fouga Sylphe is in excellent condition, and is only the second one I've seen. The first one went for an eye-watering amount of dosh on eBay.

So, if anyone is interested, please let Tony (or me) know!

:)

My name is Peter and I’m new to this forum.
Looking through offers of model kits on eBay I just found a rather scruffy und partly built Graupner Fouga Sylphe.
It’s on auction until Dec. 25th.
www.ebay.de/p/2256131683?iid=154755625717&thm=10

I don’t know if it’s worth bidding but maybe someone is interested nonetheless.

Roger adds:

Welcome to the forum and many thanks for the link , Peter. The kit looks to be in a bit of a mess, but would be an interesting restoration project. The price is not too outrageous and what appears to be a new Jetex 50 is included. :) Go for it!

I have written quite a lot about really rather nice Graupner Jetex kits in the past. If you like I can dig these out and if you are interested.
My replica 'Pinto' flies splendidly!
