Just wondering if anyone would like me to print up Jetex Tee's to support the site and hobby while looking really cool. ;)

Hi Dave,

this is a splendid idea and a very professional job. Of the previous 'Jetex' T-shirts (see below) I have only two left, and these are small.

One suggestion (sorry!) You could add Jetex Jim and his paramour, but it would now be:'sull fizzing after 70 years'.

Can I order a (large?) one for Daniel, who has certainly earned it.

If we can organise a large enough order, this will make shipment to the UK viable. What do others think? Let me know. B)

underneath the logo on the front Roger?

Roger adds,

Yup:

The 'Jetex yellow' was a mistake - on a (rare) hot still day it attracted hoards of flies! :woohoo:

Hi Dave,
if T-shirts, why not other Jetex-related paraphernalia? My previous efforts with a mug were quite popular. This celebrated the sixty years since Jetex hit the market:

and then, a few years later, (2012) I produced a more sober one:

These were fun to promote at flying events and swapmeets (remember those?) and fly the flag. We never made money, of course, but it was fun (remember that?).
A Jetex baseball cap was also a possibility, but the correct 'Jetex Yellow' yellow would be difficult to source (and potentially insectophilic)

Above: not quite the right yellow and it needs a logo .... hmmm .... starting to look pricey

Ruth vetoed my plans for a pair of 'Jetex Jim' underpants ('still fizzing after sixty years').. :(

This looks good to me. I do wear my old Jetex to meetings, but given the normal weather at such events it's normally covered by my treasured 'Peterborough MFC top!

Here is me with Ben Nead's original Jetex Jetex T-shirt. The model is my Avro Arrow; the gentleman next to me is John Farley legendary test pilot for the Hawker P.1127 jump jet. Happy days!

I look forward to a Jetex mug and cap ... and (just possibly, again, a range of kits.

We shall see B)
