TOPIC: Oddball design inspiration

I’ve been looking for an oddball design for a while and after the successes of my Fairey FD1 I thought I might give the Nord 1402 a bash…even found a modern plan on Outerzone! Bonus.

Looks tricky to me. I once started a Griffon .... Close-coupled tailed deltas like the Gerfault are best treated as a pure delta (lots of reflex on the wing) Could do with a much deeper trough or (here's a thought) an internal motor with an augmenter tube.

I am very tempted by the augmentor tube route however motor casing burn throughs can be mitigated with the strategicly placed aluminium plate or foil, not sure a fully enclosed jobby would survive...can you post some pics of your Leduc to help make my mind up before I commit to balsa bashing please.
