Hi Guys,

I still have some stocks of the old TSP L-1, L-2 and L-3 motors left (contact me if you want some). But these will run out eventually, so steps have indeed been taken to avoid this catastrophe. :(

Apropos of which, has anyone else seen this FB posting?

The plan is to make one sort of L-1 and two sorts of L-2 (250mN and 170-250mN). To help popularise these they will be given a proper name. 'Spectre' (after the rocket that powered the SR 53) is the current favoured moniker.

Some beautiful models here.

What a great name, SPECTRE for their new power system.
(BTW the SR53 was long one of my (many) favorites).

And so we progress. We will be testing the new motors ASAP. We now have a catchy name for them, so what we need now is a logo. In the 'old days' we had 'Jetex Jim' and then 'Rocky Rapier':

Allow me to introduce (roll on the drums) :cheer:

Hopefully, Sparky will be as popular as his forebears

As I wrote earlier in this thread, I still have some batches of 'pre-CE' motors (still viable according to my results on the test bench), but (fanfare) Terry and I have just received an early consignment of two types of our new 'Spectre' L-2 motors. The results on the test bench (thank you Terry) look very promising indeed.

The 'standard' Spectre L-2 (2.2mm diameter nozzle (or orifice)) was consistently measured at 160mN for up to 19 sec; the Spectre L-2HP with a narrower 1.8mm nozzle recorded 270mN for around 17sec.

This is encouraging. I hope to have samples at Peterborough Flying Aces (see separate thread). The price of these motors 'on the field' is under negotiation, as it would be good to clear my old stocks (all of which worked well at Old Warden) first! B)

Hi guys,
all packs of TSP Spectre L-2 motors are now safely gathered in. A box of ten will cost you £20.00 (GBP) plus postage. This is, I think you will agree (you should agree!) is a bargain.:cheer:

P&P is around £5.00 for a single box, £7.50 for two boxes ... etc.

Please contact me directly with your rquirements. B)

Eventually we will have our own 'Jetex Shop' on site .... watch this space!
