reading through some of the very valuable and informative flying notes, mainly from you and Howard, I caught a glimpse of your canopy moulding box. It would be nice to see how you put that together. While I realise there are places on the internet where such techniques are discussed how nice if jetex.org were a 'one stop' shop where one could find all the necessary techniques to put a reaction powered model together and get it flying.
Another thing you've alluded to is the printing on t-shirt transfers for decorating balsa. I'm sure there are a few 'tricks-of-trade' here.
I do realise that adding material to the site is a lot of work but maybe it could be added to the forum by members?
a PDF of my article about "printing on t-shirt transfers for decorating balsa" (this is for all balsa profile models) is available on request (just email me). As to moulding canopies. Mike Stuart describes one method on his website:
I'm sure I've described the method I use somewhere ... but I can't remember where!
There are some some nice vac boxes etc available quite cheaply (from 'Etsy') and You tube I'm sure has a couple of good videos about vac-forming.
