I am looking for guidance on which profile jet model is the best floater to make in a (much) smaller size for a project I am working on.
I will be making it out of durabatics (basically, 0.5mm depron sheet).

Any help would be much appreciated. :)

2 questions that affect the answers:
Is the 0.5mm Depron the sole means of construction?
Is this model for TSP/Rapier power or a glider or catjet?

It can be made with balsa strengtheners. The power plant is electric and very, very small. ;)
Weight of the power plant and electronics is about 1.5 grams.

Hi Dave,
If you can go with a pusher (or two) my recommendation would be for something with a fair bit of area and tailess like a Skyray or Cutlass.
B)
Question: being made from durabatics, will it be capable of aerobatics?

I would go for Bill Dean's Valiant. I based my all foam 18" span Valiant (well nearly all) Rapier model on Bill's design and it is a very good performer. The original design makes a very good catjet too so it has mileage.

It's a tough decision. I am considering something that may even be a powered glider. :)
