I built a couple of gliders during our holiday last September, the small one is 15" wingspan and the bigger one is 20" span. I didn't like the look of the bigger model as the wings had been cropped (presumably for production purposes) so I recently made longer wings and it is now 30" span and looks the part. The real glider could be fitted with a jet engine so I will be flying mine with a Rapier or TSP motor attached to the little tab above the wings.
The last two pics are the Twin Shark was 20" and is 30" span and Torino 15" span.
'Cute eh? And fun.
Now I have to finish them!!!

Yes, very nice Howard.
Where did you find the kits?
(I look forward to seeing them painted).

Thanks Terry, I look forward to seeing them painted too, I'm stalling at the moment (as ever with painting) while deciding on the nicest, lightest and easiest (for me) way of doing it.
These were last year's birthday and Christmas presents from my wife which she found online. Google finds them both in the UK, search for: HPH 304 Twin Shark model glider kit ( the bigger one), and Torino model glider kit.

Some progress at last on the Twin Shark glider with jet motor, I’ve made a motor casing from a drinks can and although it looks a bit giant against the real jet motor pod it is at least a little shiny as was one of the real jets fitted. Its covered it in Doculam for a weight penalty of 4.5 grams and I am hoping the paint will only add another three so that all up weight will be around 32 grams plus a gram or two of ballast. The motor will be a Rapier L2 of around 150mN’s as I still have a few left but the mount can easily have a sleeve fitted to take a TSP L1.
