Here are a few videos from Frank Schwellenthin who has very kindly sent me some video of him flying R/C and Tendera.

I've asked Frank for some more info on those motors. He will send me some pictures soon!

Brilliant, thanks Terry, spectacular stuff, could you give us explain more detail about the motors being used in the video. The run time is quite long compared to what we have been using so far.

Frank has kindly followed up with some pictures of the models we see flying in the video and the equipment he uses for air ignition.

The igniter circuit card is actually a Klima product that you can find here.

Regarding the models;
The canard is an Estes Astro Blaster.
The Shuttle is one of Frank's own design models, based on a Revell version.
That very nice Bell X1 is from a company in the UK which Frank says he sees no longer on the net.

Very nice pictures, I'm sure we all agree.

So, I do hope to see some more R/C rocket powered models soon. I do have a Me163 of my own waiting for completion and testing. Here it is again...

The Bell, I'm just informed by Frank was kitted by Belair Kits :

I must say, having had a brief search I don't see the Bell but there are some very nice classic kits on there from Veron and Mercury. Of course an email to

may bring success.

I defy anyone to have a look at this website and not come away itching to build something. These laser cut kits look very nice indeed.
